DJ Dres' love for music began at the age of 11 with a tape recorder and a radio. He began recording every song he heard on the radio and would write the lyrics to all of them by hand. As technology advanced, Dres' music collection became larger and he began selling compilation CDs in his middle school. His massive music collection gained the attention of DJs online and he began trading exclusive music with them. Listening to the mixes that the DJs would make inspired Dres to begin DJing in 2003.

After locking himself in his room for countless hours a day to practice, Dres got his first club residency at The Palace (BBC) where he would play for hundreds of kids weekly. He began to create Mixtapes that were sold on a global level and they were nominated for multiple awards. This helped Dres build his buzz and move into the Boston Club scene. He has spun at every major nightclub in Boston in his 18 year career and also radio stations like JAMN 94.5 , POWER 102.9, LA MEGA 890.

In 2011 Dres began to get requests to DJ/MC Weddings and he saw that there was a void in the market for a DJ that could bring the non-stop mixing style of a nightclub DJ and the professional MC'ing needed to execute the perfect wedding. Today you can find Dres DJing Open Format clubs in Boston when he isn't helping you DJ / Coordinate your wedding. He also makes mixes for his Mobile App that reaches 20,000+ users worldwide. His passion for music and entertaining a crowd has allowed him to have a successful career and he has no plans of slowing down!
